CDF Annual Report 2011

In furtherance of its mandate under the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas (the Treaty), The CARICOM Development Fund (CDF) expanded its Country Assistance Programme (CAP) and made significant disbursements in 2011. The Board, although bound by the Agreement Relating to the Operation of the CDF, (the Agreement) instructed management to work with all CDF beneficiary Member States to ensure their CAPs were sufficiently developed to allow for Board consideration. Consequently, by the end of year CAPs were either completed or at an advanced stage for three of the five remaining beneficiary Member States. This was in keeping with the Board’s commitment to do everything in its power to ensure proper and timely consideration of all financial interventions.
