Small and Medium-size Enterprise
(SME) Development
SME development is a key priority development area of CDF’s focus. SME’s in various member States have benefited from access to low cost loans and grant facilities to finance various operations across sectors such as tourism, manufacturing, agriculture, mining and construction. These facilities are generally on-lent or granted through intermediary banks, usually development banks, for the various purposes at very concessionary rates.
- Loan of US$3.0 million to The Development Finance Corporation (DF) for on-lending to small and medium sized enterprises.
- Technical Assistance US&75,000 to BELTRAIDE to develop policy on micro, small and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs).
- Loan of US$3.0 million to the Grenada Development Bank (GDB) for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
- Grant of US$183,629 for Technical Assistance for the GDB and the small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
- Loan of US$3.732million to Saint Lucia Development Bank (SLDB) for on-lending to small and mediums sized enterprises (SMEs).
- Loan of US$3.0 million to the Development Bank of St. Kitts and Nevis (DBSKN) for on-lending to small and mediums sized enterprises (SMEs).
