OVERVIEW
The cost of fossil fuel-based energy is a key determinant of the competitiveness of the Caribbean SMEs; and it is important to support SMEs to contribute to national targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The project supports the integration of solar power in the operations of 5 SMEs – as demonstration projects; and includes the identification and assessment of potential beneficiaries; monitoring of the integration process and evaluation of business impact; and demonstrating impact to and sharing lessons learned with the local private sector and business support organisations.
