The MOU strengthens closer engagement between both parties in the provision of technical expertise in
project design, appraisal as well as monitoring and evaluation to the CDF. In addition, to assist in the
development of a robust pipeline of bankable projects for financing/co-financing consideration by local,
regional and international financial entities, including the CDF and CARDI and work collaboratively with
CDF to foster access to finance, technical assistance, training and capacity building required to support
agriculture sector research and development and entrepreneurship in the Caribbean region, with a
special focus on youth and women. Collaboration on aspects related to other non-agriculture initiatives
which may be deemed important to the advancement of this collaboration.
