Project Overview

OVERVIEW

BERP complements the Green Barbuda Project and includes:
• the undergrounding of the electricity network (3km of distribution lines) to reduce the impact of climate change and extreme weather events and increase resilience.
• installing solar systems on 3 government buildings and generation of 410 kW of energy.
• the reconnection of approximately 89 homes that remain disconnected from the electricity grid since the passage of Hurricane Irma in 2017.
