Project Overview

OVERVIEW

Export diversification and growth is an imperative for the Saint Lucian economy. The start-up of the Trade Export and Promotion Agency initiated the establishing of the legal, policy, regulatory and institutional framework for export development. This project furthers the establishing of the aforementioned framework.

The project is co-financed by the Government of St Lucia, International Trade Center, and the CARICOM Development Fund and includes:
• Development of St Lucia’s 2017-2022 National Export Development Strategy (NEDS).
• Institutional strengthening of TEPA, the agency responsible for implementing the NEDS and leading St Lucia’s effort development efforts.
