Development of a roadmap for bilateral co-operation in agriculture with Suriname

Project Overview

OVERVIEW

In 2017, the Governments of Antigua and Barbuda and Suriname signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at deepening economic relations; and established a Task Force and conducted exploratory missions – as initial steps in the operationalisation of the MOU.

The project supports research to aid in a more evidence-based approach to decisions on the economic opportunities to be pursued and the most effective strategies for exploiting these opportunities.

The project engages a consultant to support the Member States in identifying and evaluating opportunities; developing strategies to address assessed challenges and risks; and a practical Roadmap for implementing the agreed strategies.
