Completion of the Learning Resource Centre, Antigua State College

Project Overview

OVERVIEW

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) of the Antigua State College was designed to improve teachers’ and students’ capacity to conduct research and improve the teaching and learning environment. Construction of the LRC began in 2008, was not completed, and planned benefits to teachers and students not realized. This project completes the construction of the LRC and includes:
- Independent assessment of the incomplete/pre-project structure
- Independent review of preliminary designs, cost estimates, design briefs and other relevant information with recommended modifications where appropriate
- Review and approval of finalised structural designs, drawings and other documentation by relevant agencies
- Development of detailed site plan.
- Construction

Post-construction activities, including the equipping and operationalization of the LRC were financed counterpart resources from the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.
