The areas of cooperation covered by this MOU seek to advance all aspects of agriculture in the Caribbean region such as: productivity and competitiveness of the agri-food and agro-tourism sectors; agriculture, climate change and natural resource management; food and nutrition security; animal and plant health; youth and women’s use and control of agricultural assets; health and nutrition, with a focus on child health ; and technological innovation in agriculture.
