GIZ has partnered with the CDF on the design and operational procedures for the Credit Risk Abatement Facility (CRAF) through the provision of a Technical Assistance consultancy. In addition, it has supported the CDF in the promotion of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency amongst the youth of the Caribbean through the funding of an Internship programme in Caricom institutions focused on RE/EE initiatives. GIZ has also supported the CDF in capacity building by financing a consultancy to develop a Sustainable Energy strategy for the Fund.
