The purpose of this MOU is to provide a broad framework for cooperation between both organizations as a basis for collaborating in the delivery of services to Member States of CARICOM, as the region seeks to forge closer economic integration within the framework of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) and the recently endorsed Africa-Caribbean Trade Initiative. Some areas of focus are: Support of critical infrastructure projects; support to export-oriented Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) for expansion; Promotion of Youth Entrepreneurship in the CARICOM region; and Support in providing optimal funding options from debt and equity capital markets for the CARICOM region.
