EZ Investments Limited, headquartered in Belmopan, has concluded a detailed energy performance audit under the Technical Assistance Programme of the Credit Risk Abatement Facility (CRAF).
The ASHRAE Level 2 Energy Audit, conducted by ESPC Energy Solutions Ltd., analyzed the energy profile of the firm’s main office building and proposed several efficiency improvements. Chief among the recommendations is a 36-kW grid-tied solar PV system, which would meet the bulk of the building’s daytime electricity demands while reducing operational costs.
Additional findings pointed to improvements in HVAC and lighting systems that could further optimize energy use. The audit outputs include a bankable project proposal, positioning EZ Investments to take the next steps toward executing the recommended interventions.
This technical assistance effort reflects CRAF’s commitment to enabling SMEs across the CARICOM region to develop financially viable, renewable energy and energy efficiency projects that support climate resilience and lower carbon emissions.
